The Rochford Extended Services Team were responsible for setting up and running Multi Agency Cluster (MAC) Meetings, promoting partnership working between statutory, non statutory and voluntary organisions, to provide the best posible outcomes for children & families.
All of our team members are parents themselves. They know that family life can be difficult to balance and, from time to time we all need a little bit of extra help and support!
As long as you have a child at one of our partner schools, you can ask for free support and guidance.

Michelle Maton, Senior Family Support Worker & Specialist Counsellor, will be supporting school staff to manage anxiety and mental health, particularly around the impact of illness on families. She will also provide 1:1 telephone support to the existing families on her caseload.
Our Educational Psychologist, Dr Emma Rawlings, will be providing support to Head Teachers and their staff at this really difficult time. She will be able to give advice and guidance, using psychological thinking to find a way forward. She will not be able to offer individual support to parents at the moment however.
Family Support Worker & Counsellor, Maria Hill, is commissioned to work with the children and families from the Zenith MAT and will be dividing her time between their needs, and supporting families on her caseload, via the telephone. She will also be supporting schools around staff and pupils mental health.

COMPASS is the single point of access helpline to support victims of domestic abuse across Southend, Essex and Thurrock.
Compass is available 24hrs a day, for callers to speak with a trained member of staff who will complete an assessment and ensure contact is made with the most appropriate support service. There will be an easy to use online form for both the public and professionals wishing to make a referral.
